Making music fun in east anglia

It is with great sadness that we mark the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
Martlesham Brass has always held her in great esteem and we will miss her dedication and constant care for us.
We have followed her example of making our organisation open and welcoming to all.

We look to the future when we can celebrate her life and that of our new sovereign, King Charles III.

Constitutional Amendment for CRB checks

The wording agreed at our recent committee meeting for the proposed constitutional amendment was as follows:

All trustees will be required to complete a CRB disclosure application within one month of appointment. Bandleaders and assistant bandleaders must have a successfully completed CRB return in place prior to commencing their leadership role. The Main Committee will be responsible for ensuring CRB disclosures are kept up to date.

It will sit under Clause W â" Child Protection and Equal Opportunities, in the Constitution. If you have any questions, donât hesitate to speak to a committee member.
