Making music fun in east anglia

It is with great sadness that we mark the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
Martlesham Brass has always held her in great esteem and we will miss her dedication and constant care for us.
We have followed her example of making our organisation open and welcoming to all.

We look to the future when we can celebrate her life and that of our new sovereign, King Charles III.

Cornet round-up

As a result of some recent moves, and due to popular demand, some places have been made available within the intermediate cornet section. We are looking to listen to all players interested in potentially moving seat or joining the cornet section.

If you are a current, or aspiring Intermediate band cornet player and are interested, please speak to your bandleader to arrange an audition within the next few weeks.

Charities

It's that time of year when we consider to which charities we will give the money we raise during our carolling season. As in previous years, we would like an agreed charity to be put forward from three bands: Main, Inters and Prelims combined with the Beginners. We will split the money we get three ways.

Please can you submit your nominations to your Player Rep, or Bandleader. We have tried to focus on local charities in the past, but the choice is up to each of the three bands to agree. As we have to get publicity material ready for our carolling season, please submit your nominations soon, so we can have our three charities agreed before the end of October
