Making music fun in east anglia

It is with great sadness that we mark the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
Martlesham Brass has always held her in great esteem and we will miss her dedication and constant care for us.
We have followed her example of making our organisation open and welcoming to all.

We look to the future when we can celebrate her life and that of our new sovereign, King Charles III.

Christmas is here

Its nearly Christmas, so why not come and share in our festive cheer? We are in full Christmas flow with one of our bands out almost every night at a supermarket near you. If you see us shivering in the bleak mid winter, outside a supermarket on our way to Bethlehem why not come over and lend us your ears. A few Christmas carols later and youll be ready to tackle the barrage of turkeys, mince pies and whiskey waiting for you inside.

Festive concert

Following our recent success at the Rotary Club concert held in Woodbridge school you will be please to hear we have our Christmas concert on Saturday 22nd December. This will feature all bands at the Kesgrave Community Centre. If you would like tickets please contact [email protected], but donât delay they are always popular.

Hillside Brass

We are very pleased to have donated some unused instruments to Hillside school. Although these instruments were not in perfect condition over thirty children turned up to audition for the chance play one of these three cornets. Following this success two more cornets were donated allowing another couple of children the chance to learn a new skill. Thanks to the passion of Nina Harvey and the dedication of these youngsters we now have some new recruits into the brass band world, and some new friends to join our big family at Martlesham Brass.
