It is with great sadness that we mark the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
Martlesham Brass has always held her in great esteem and we will miss her dedication and constant care for us.
We have followed her example of making our organisation open and welcoming to all.

We look to the future when we can celebrate her life and that of our new sovereign, King Charles III.

The ever popular Martlesham Brass Summer Fayre will be held on Saturday 13th June 2015.

The event will be held at St Michaels Church Centre Martlesham Heath and on the village green.

Please find below details of what will be happening during the afternoon.

12 noon â�" All band members to arrive (BBQ will be available for your lunch!)
1.00 -1.15pm â�" Massed Band performance
1.20 â�" 2.10 â�" Main Band performance
2.20 â�" 2.50 - Preliminary band performance
3.00 â�" 3.15 â�" Beginners band performance
3.20 â�" 4.00 â�" Intermediate band performance
4.00 â�" 4.15 â�" Grand Draw!!

Cake Stall

Everyoneâ��s favourite, please make the cake stall a great success by baking cakes to sell on the stall. Donations of cakes can be brought at band practice on Friday 12th or on the day â�" thanks

Family Stalls

Don�t miss out on this great opportunity to run your own stall in aid of Martlesham Brass, the wackier the better. If you wish to run your own stall please let Jayne know so enough tables can be allocated.

Craft stalls

A great opportunity for a bit of retail therapy!

We will need your help!!

During the course of the afternoon we would really appreciate some of your time to help us supervise the stalls. Additional assistance is crucial as many of the fundraising committee will be performing at some point during the afternoon! If you can help please email Jayne or look out for the sheet to complete at band practice over the next few weeks.

Grand Draw

Slightly different format this year, grand draw tickets will be available on the day, prizes so far include: 4 guest passes for David Lloyd, 2 Wolsey theatre tickets, £10 Deben Inns voucher, 2 games at Kingpin, 4 swims at Deben pool, £20 Tesco voucher, 2 child tickets for Colchester Zoo and more to come â�¦

Cuddly toy tombola

The Wright family will be running a cuddly toy tombola this year, cuddly toy donations will be most welcome! (on the day please)

Hamper Raffle

Each band will be asked to put together a summer hamper to be raffled during the afternoon, please look out for the food/drink lists at band practice.

Weather not looking good?

Fear not, the event will still go ahead so please still come.

- Book stall (donations of books required)
- Refreshments and BBQ will be available all afternoon
