AGM 2008
As I'm sure you are aware, the band had it's AGM on the 22nd February. As always, we had some important matters to discuss, but also some great things to do, such as the presentation of the cheques to our nominated charities.
We said a formal farewell to Bruce as our Main bandleader, and welcome to Adam in his place.
We had a typical turnout of around one third of our membership, but it would have been great to have had more present. We always try to make them as interesting as possible, and would love to hear you views on how the band is run, and what you would do differently.

Band Trailer
The band trailer has now found a new home, in a garage close to St Michaels church.
Were now looking for volunteers who can help out with a rota to take it to and from band on a Friday night.
Please speak to a bandleader if youre willing to help.
Gift Aid
Gift Aid enables the band to reclaim tax to increase subscription monies paid (at no cost to yourself).
If you are a tax payer and have not signed up for this scheme, please speak to Mary Aldous or your bandleader for a form.
BT Community Champions
Last month, the band was awarded £135 from BTâs Community Champions scheme.
Good Friday
Please note that there will be no practice on the 21st of March due to it being Good Friday.
Landseer Road â" 20th April!
We incorrectly detailed the Landseer Road Preliminary event as occurring on the 27th of April last month â" please note that this is actually on the 20th of April.
Premier Drum Kit For Sale
The bands premier drum kit, once used for all our performances has recently been replaced. Were now looking to sell this. If you are interested in purchasing it, please speak to a bandleader.
