Making music fun in east anglia

It is with great sadness that we mark the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
Martlesham Brass has always held her in great esteem and we will miss her dedication and constant care for us.
We have followed her example of making our organisation open and welcoming to all.

We look to the future when we can celebrate her life and that of our new sovereign, King Charles III.

5th May, 2004 - Martlesham Brass Spring Concert 22/5/04

After a hectic Contesting season Martlesham Brass kick off the busy summer of concerts, fetes and events with their Annual Spring Concert, held for the first time this year at Kesgrave High School.
An estimated audience of some 200 people will be treated to a wide range of music from all four Martleshsm Brass Bands - Beginners, Preliminaries, Intermediates and the Main band.
Starting with the Spring Concert the four bands of Martlesham Brass will be out performing at various events throughout summer, ranging from School fetes, to their own Summer fayre on the 19th June, to Ipswich Music in the Park on 4th July. The summer season is always a great opportunity for Martlesham Brass to show off their playing ablities to as many people as possible all over the county, it is also a time when some extremely important revenue is brought into the band coffers!
The Spring Concert begins at 7pm. Tickets can be bought in advance from Ian Harvey on 07779 619886. If buying tickets on the door people are advised to arrive early so as not to be dissappointed. Cost of all tickets is £2.00, though pre school children will be admitted for free.
