Making music fun in east anglia

It is with great sadness that we mark the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
Martlesham Brass has always held her in great esteem and we will miss her dedication and constant care for us.
We have followed her example of making our organisation open and welcoming to all.

We look to the future when we can celebrate her life and that of our new sovereign, King Charles III.

Katrina Marzella

On the 9th of February, Katrina Marzella is visiting Martlesham Brass. Katrina is the solo Baritone player for Black Dyke and is regarded as one of the leading players of her generation.

During the day she will be holding workshops with the Main Band from 10am-12pm and for everyone else in the afternoon from 1-2pm.

In the evening she will be performing with the Main Band. Tickets for the evening concert cost just £4 (primary school age children are free). Please make sure that you get your tickets and spread the word to all your family and friends!

Christmas Carolling

Thanks to all that came to play Carols at Sainsburyâ��s this year. We managed to collect £2,389.24 â�" an amazing amount! We will be giving £820 to all of our three charities that we collected for - The Stroke Association, Martlesham Community Responders and Tiffers The Bus Shelter.

Instrument Donations

The Band are planning to donate any old or surplus instruments to Brass for Africa (www.brassforafrica.org). If anyone wishes to donate an instrument too, please bring them along to Band practice.

Practice arrangements

Throughout February Inters will meet in the Scout Hut and Prelims in the Church.
