Making music fun in east anglia

It is with great sadness that we mark the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
Martlesham Brass has always held her in great esteem and we will miss her dedication and constant care for us.
We have followed her example of making our organisation open and welcoming to all.

We look to the future when we can celebrate her life and that of our new sovereign, King Charles III.

We have a new trailer!

Thanks to everyone who helped to fundraise for our new Band trailer.
We now have a brand new two-axled trailer that was custom-built by Blue Line Trailers.

Remembrance Services

We will be performing at three events on the 10th of November.

In the morning, the Intermediates and the Main Band parade down Market Hill and contribute to the Act of Remembrance outside the Shire Hall.
A small group also performs at St Marys Church in Martlesham.

In the afternoon the Main Band will be taking part in the Martlesham Heath Aviation Society Remembrance Service which is held on the Barrack Square in Martlesham (if the weather is awful, its likely it will be moved to St Michaels Church).

Please make sure you do your very best to attend, and to ensure that you are wearing smart uniform.

Intermediate Band spaces

There are spaces available in the Intermediate Band for Euphonium, Baritone and Cornet players. If youd like to apply, please speak to your Bandleader.

Instrument Maintenance

If you have any issues with your instrument, please speak to your Bandleader. We also have a selection of oils and greases available if you need anything to keep your instrument in good condition.

Christmas Carolling

100% of the money raised during our carolling efforts are donated to three chosen charities. Please nominate charities to your Bandleader or Player Rep over the next couple of weeks.

Practice arrangements

Throughout October Inters will meet in the Church and Prelims in the Scout Hut.
