Skegness
Good luck to the Main Band, who are participating in the Mineworkers Brass Band Contest at Butlins, Skegness next week.
Due to a number of bandleaders being away at this event, please note that a joint Beginners, Preliminaries and Intermediates rehearsal will be taken by Ian Harvey in the church for the practice on the 18th.
Tenor Horn Position in Intermediates
A space is currently available in the Intermediate Band for a tenor horn player. If you would like to apply for this seat, please speak to your bandleader or Adam (the Intermediate bandleader).
AGM, 22nd February, 7:30pm
This year, our AGM will be held on Friday 22nd February at 7:30pm after Beginner, Preliminary and Intermediate practices.
Please make every effort to attend as this gives you the ability to find out more information about the band and the way that the organisation operates.
All committee positions are available for nomination, and we ask that you consider the posts that are available â" weâre always looking for new people to be involved!
If you would like to apply for a position , please return nomination forms by 8th February (forms will be available shortly).
Wednesday Practice
Please note that that is no Wednesday Practice on the 16th of January due to the Main Band rehearsing for the Mineworkers Contest.
Birthday card competition
Each year we redesign our Birthday Card which goes out to every member of the band. The time has come again, so why not get your creative juices flowing, and see your local player rep with your design â" good luck!
