Making music fun in east anglia

It is with great sadness that we mark the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
Martlesham Brass has always held her in great esteem and we will miss her dedication and constant care for us.
We have followed her example of making our organisation open and welcoming to all.

We look to the future when we can celebrate her life and that of our new sovereign, King Charles III.

Spring concert

Our Spring concert takes place on 11th May at 7.00pm at St Michaels church. This is a great family event and all are welcome. Tickets will be £3.00 and on sale soon, free for primary school children and under-fives. Tickets will be on sale on practice nights, 2nd Stop Charity shop or the Martlesham brass website.

Instruments for sale

A couple of the band members are selling their instruments, Jake and George who were in the Prelims. They would like to sell a Blessing Trombone, a B& H Trumpet and an old cornet as the boys are not interested in playing anymore. Julie thinks that £125 each for the trombone and trumpet (with spare mouthpieces and stands) might be fair and about £25 for the cornet, but is open to negotiation. If you are interested contact Julie email address is [email protected].
