Making music fun in east anglia

It is with great sadness that we mark the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
Martlesham Brass has always held her in great esteem and we will miss her dedication and constant care for us.
We have followed her example of making our organisation open and welcoming to all.

We look to the future when we can celebrate her life and that of our new sovereign, King Charles III.

Martlesham Brass
'Making Music Fun in East Anglia'

Congratulations all the medal winners chosen by the band leaders as the most improved players in their bands this year. George Hardy (beginners), Thomas Harvard (preliminaries), Lisa Chalklen (intermediates) and Matt Ellis (main). Chris Beale was named the Band Person of the Year. Well done to all of you! We look forward to seeing everyone at St Michael's Church, Martlesham Heath for our 10th 'Tea and Tunes' event on Saturday 8th November at 10am. This is a chance to listen to the preliminaries and beginners, whilst enjoying a cup of tea or coffee. Please also make a date in your diary for our Christmas concert which is always a sell-out! This year we are holding it on Sunday 21st December at 7pm at the Kesgrave Community Centre (tickets from Chris Beale 07802 868924).
Our band welcomes new players young and old, with or without experience. Our aim is to encourage anyone who feels they would like to play in a brass band to come and have a go! If you would like to join us, or if you already play or have previously played a brass instrument and feel that you would like to come along and meet us, please contact us via the website or use the contact details below.
