Making music fun in east anglia

It is with great sadness that we mark the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
Martlesham Brass has always held her in great esteem and we will miss her dedication and constant care for us.
We have followed her example of making our organisation open and welcoming to all.

We look to the future when we can celebrate her life and that of our new sovereign, King Charles III.

Martlesham Brass
'Making Music Fun in East Anglia'

Once again we had a most successful Christmas carolling season. We raised an amazing £3323.97 during all our Christmas activities and we can therefore donate the extraordinary sum of £830 to each of the three local charities we supported this year! Thank you to all the players who shivered outside the supermarkets, to all the collectors who braved the cold, and to all the generous people who smiled as they dropped coins (and notes!) into our buckets.
Make sure you put Saturday 27th February in your diaries â" our main band is presenting a concert of Film and TV Themes which is bound to cheer up the gloomy winter days! Tickets are £2.50 (children 11 and under free) from either 07802 868924 or why not order online at www.martleshambrass.co.uk The concert is at St Michaelâs Church, Martlesham Heath and starts at 7pm.
We shall be holding our AGM on Friday 5th March at 7.30pm also at St Michaelâs â" everyone is invited to come along and find out what the bandleaders have planned for 2010!
Our band welcomes new players young and old, with or without experience. Our aim is to encourage anyone who feels they would like to play in a brass band to come and have a go! If you would like to join us, or if you already play or have previously played a brass instrument and feel that you would like to come along and meet us, please contact us via the website or use the contact details below.
