Making music fun in east anglia

It is with great sadness that we mark the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
Martlesham Brass has always held her in great esteem and we will miss her dedication and constant care for us.
We have followed her example of making our organisation open and welcoming to all.

We look to the future when we can celebrate her life and that of our new sovereign, King Charles III.

Martlesham Brass
'Making Music Fun in East Anglia'

This year is very special for Martlesham Brass as we are celebrating our 15th birthday! Our Birthday Concert will be on Saturday 1st October at St Michael's Church Centre, Martlesham Heath starting at 7pm. Tickets are £2.50 (children 11 and under free) from 07802 868924 or online at This concert includes the Bandleaders' awards to players who have improved the most over the year and there may well be a birthday cake and a rendition of Happy Birthday included in the programme! There will also be a chance to see some photo and video memories of the band from the last 15 years - it will be interesting to see to see how some members have changed over the years!
Our Preliminary Band will showcase their talents at 'Tea and Tunes' on Saturday 5th November - this is held at St Michael's Church Centre and starts at 10am. Refreshments are available all morning - please come along and support the Preliminary players. Three other advance notices to put in your diaries - a Beetle Drive on Saturday 19th November, Coffee and Carols on Saturday 3rd December and our Christmas concert on Saturday 17th December!
Our band welcomes new players young and old, with or without experience. Our aim is to encourage anyone who feels they would like to play in a brass band to come and have a go! If you would like to join us, or if you already play or have previously played a brass instrument and feel that you would like to come along and meet us, please contact us via the website or use the contact details below.
