Making music fun in east anglia

It is with great sadness that we mark the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
Martlesham Brass has always held her in great esteem and we will miss her dedication and constant care for us.
We have followed her example of making our organisation open and welcoming to all.

We look to the future when we can celebrate her life and that of our new sovereign, King Charles III.

Martlesham Brass
'Making Music Fun in East Anglia'

The band is very sad to announce that our President, Bill Bell passed away in October aged 98. Bill was a real brass band enthusiast, a dear friend and a great inspiration to all of us. Our thoughts are with his family at this sad time.
We are hoping to raise plenty of money for local charities this year by playing carols and Christmas music at local supermarkets and other local venues. We know that in the present economic climate many charities are finding it difficult to raise funds so please give generously if you see us. This year we are supporting -Teenage Cancer Trust, Out & About (helping disabled children and young people to access everyday leisure activities in Eastern England) and EACH (the East Anglia Children's Hospice).
Donât forget to join us for Coffee and Carols on Saturday 3rd December at 10am at St Michaelâs Church Centre, Martlesham Heath and also at our ever popular Christmas concert on Saturday 17th December, 7pm also at St Michaelâs Church Centre. Tickets are £2.50 (primary school children free). You can get your tickets by phoning 07802 868924, or visiting our website www.martleshambrass.co.uk This concert is often a sell-out, so get your tickets early this year!
Our band welcomes new players young and old, with or without experience. Our aim is to encourage anyone who feels they would like to play in a brass band to come and have a go! If you would like to join us, or if you already play or have previously played a brass instrument and feel that you would like to come along and meet us, please contact us via the website or use the contact details below.
