Making music fun in east anglia

It is with great sadness that we mark the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
Martlesham Brass has always held her in great esteem and we will miss her dedication and constant care for us.
We have followed her example of making our organisation open and welcoming to all.

We look to the future when we can celebrate her life and that of our new sovereign, King Charles III.

'Making Music Fun in East Anglia'
We were pleased to hear recently that we have received a grant of £800 from the Community Enabling Budget, which we propose to use to purchase a set of tubular bells. These will enhance the percussion section of the band, and enable more young people to learn this instrument. We are grateful to Suffolk Coastal District Council, and particularly Councillor Blundell for their support and help in obtaining this grant.
Looking forward into May, our Spring Concert will be on Saturday May 10th in St. Michael's Church Centre, Martlesham Heath. There will be more details about the concert next month.

Our band welcomes new players young and old, with or without experience. Our aim is to encourage anyone who feels they would like to play in a brass band to come and have a go! If you would like to join us, or if you already play or have previously played a brass instrument and feel that you would like to come along and meet us, please contact us via the website or use the contact details below.
