Making music fun in east anglia

It is with great sadness that we mark the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
Martlesham Brass has always held her in great esteem and we will miss her dedication and constant care for us.
We have followed her example of making our organisation open and welcoming to all.

We look to the future when we can celebrate her life and that of our new sovereign, King Charles III.

Martlesham Brass
'Making Music Fun in East Anglia'

Good news! We have recently been awarded £135 from the BT Community Champions Scheme. We hope to put this towards purchasing a 'tam-tam' (a type of gong).
April will be a busy month for all our bands. Our Main Band is looking forward to presenting a fundraising concert at Alan Road Methodist Church on Saturday 5th April at 7.30pm. The Preliminary Band is also appearing at Landseer Road Methodist church in April â" they will be playing a selection of hymns in the morning service on Sunday 20th April. On the same day, players from our other two bands will be marching along Felixstowe 'Prom' to a St. George's Day service organised by the Orwell District Scouts at The Spa Pavilion.
We have two advance dates for your diaries â" our Spring Concert on Saturday 17th May at 7pm at the Martlesham Community Centre and our Band Summer Fayre on Saturday 14th June at St. Michael's Church Martlesham Heath, from 2pm. We would love to see you at these events!

Our band welcomes new players young and old, with or without experience. Our aim is to encourage anyone who feels they would like to play in a brass band to come and have a go! If you would like to join us, or if you already play or have previously played a brass instrument and feel that you would like to come along and meet us, please contact us via the website or use the contact details below.
